Welcome to our Inter-school music and dance competition, Soniq, where the notes are high and the vibes hit all the right chords!! NPS Marathahalli campus transforms into a stage of dreams, where rhythm meets rivalry in the most harmonious of ways.
This event isn't just about who hits the highest notes, it's about celebrating the courage to take the mic, the joy of striking a chord, and the magic that happens when young talents come together. Whether you're jazzing it up, rocking it out, or keeping it classical, we applaud your passion and pizzazz.
A thunderous round of applause to our teachers, judges, and organisers, whose behind-the- scenes symphony makes this event sing!

Rules & Guidelines
Participation Guidelines
- Open to students from Grades 5 to 12
- One entry per category from each school
- Instruments to be brought by participants
Time Limit
- Dance (Folk): 4-6 mins
- Dance (Western): 4-5 mins
- Western Group Song: 3+1 mins (including setup)
- Band Performance: 8+2 mins (including setup)
General Rules
- All participants are required to carry their IDs/badges and must be dressed in their school uniform. Those participating in dance can be in their costumes.
- Only completed and submitted registration forms will be considered for participation. On-spot registration will not be allowed.
- Any changes in the names of the participants must be informed to the school prior to the event.
- Participants can only be accompanied by their school teachers. Teachers need to carry their respective school ID cards.
- The school authorities reserve the right to refuse entry to persons not authorised by the school.
- Timings must be strictly adhered to.
- NPS Marathahalli will not be responsible for the loss of any equipment, instrument, or personal belongings brought by the participants.
- Participants will be judged and timed from the moment their names are announced to perform.
- Participants will be judged based on presentation and skill, choreography, creativity, overall presentation, etc.
- Each school can send one team per category. The same participant cannot register for more than one event.
- Songs and dance performances must be school-appropriate. No inappropriate lyrics, innuendos, or suggestive movements.

- Damaging school property/breaking rules will lead to disqualification of the school from the event.
- Certificates & memorabilia will be given to all participants.
- Parents are strictly not allowed.
